Love, intimacy, and sexuality. These are topics that the mother of Bartek, a young man with Down syndrome, avoids discussing. In the sombre setting of his mother’s funeral home, Bartek diligently prepares dead bodies for burial. However, when he encounters a girl who has recently arrived in his town, he embarks on a journey of first love.

A young house painter yearns for excitement during long, dull days of work. One night the painter runs into a charming couple, he is intrigued by them, and they seem to pay particular interest to him. One thing leads to another and they end up at the couples home. There, things start to unravel as the painter realises he is stuck in a power play.
