Tunis, November 2019. A group of women is gathered at Saïda’s, the hairdresser, on the eve of the presidential election. The salon is transformed into a town square, mirroring the country’s internal turmoil. We get an intimate look at the county’s teenage democracy in this female sanctuary.

Horst’s everyday life is representative of the lives led by many people who live on the margins of society. Their stories too often remain untold.

Sara is 26 years old and has suffered from anorexia for eight years. She currently weighs 36 kilograms, but this is her highest weight in a very long time. Counting calories obsessively and weighing every food was an integral part of Sara’s life. After many years, due to her desire to start a family, she decided to start treatment in a closed institution.
