IT CAN BE ANY DAY
Kamila, a general practitioner on the verge of retirement, takes care of her parents – her 90-year-old dad and Alzheimer’s-stricken mum. She accompanies them in the final stages of their lives. In doing so, she is aware of her own mortality and the fact that there is no one who will support her in the future to the same extent.

THE PRICE OF A STORY
A rich Czech tourist and his translator come to an Inuit shaman – an Angakkoq. The meeting, arranged at a local museum, is to discuss a legendary encounter between the Angakkoq’s ancestors with the ancestors of the Czech tourist. This short film about the clash of different cultures and mentalities is the first Czech-Greenlandic co-production.

AN ORANGE FROM JAFFA
Mohammed, a young Palestinian, is desperately looking for a cab to get him past the checkpoint. He wants to join his mother to accompany her to Jaffa, near Tel Aviv. Farouk, the cab driver, is hesitant because the young man has no pass, only a European resident’s student ID. Upon arriving at the checkpoint, Farouk discovers that Mohammed has already tried to cross the border at another point – Qalandia.
