WERONIKA PŁACZEK
Organizer of cultural activities, chief of the Animocje International Animated Film Festival. Since 2010 associated with the City Cultural Center in Bydgoszcz, where as a specialist she coordinates projects related to animated films and deals with the organization and coordination of music and interdisciplinary events. She appears as a juror at festivals (Opolskie Lamy, ReAnima Festival, StopTrik Festival), selects films (Zoom-Zbliżenia Festival, Lublin Film Festival, IAFF Animocje), and curates screenings (Animocje, Fonomo Music & Film Festival, StopTrik Festival). Member of the board of the Nowa Sztuka Wet Music Foundation. She collaborates with the Mózg Foundation – Foundation of Contemporary Music and Interdisciplinary Forms and other entities operating within the arts and culture.
PAULINA WYRT
A graduate of the Animation Department at the University of Arts in Poznań (UAP).
Animated film director, illustrator, film and graphic arts educator. In her work, she combines
traditional techniques with modern technologies. She currently works at the University of Arts
in Poznań in the Animation Department of the Faculty of Animation and Experimental Film.
Winner of numerous awards at film and graphic arts festivals (exhibition at the Museum of
Illustration and Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art at the Society of Illustrators Illustrators 65
NY USA, including the iJungle Illustration Awards, Hiii Illustration, Ferdynand Wspaniały
Award for the best Polish children's book, Salair International Film Festival (main prize for a
student film), FEST – NEW DIRECTORS | NEW FILMS FESTIVAL in Portugal (main prize
for the best animated short film). Director of the animation Ojciec (Father), produced as part
of the Young Animation program at the Munk Studio (premiere in 2027).
Scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2022). Member of the
Polish Filmmakers Association, president of the young Animatik Foundation (2023)..
