

PIOTR DUMAŁA
The director of animated films and feature films, ilustrator and writer. A graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. Professor of Film School in Lodz. He is one of the most well-known and respected Polish animation filmmakers in the world. He has won many awards at major film festivals including Krakow, Mannheim, Lagow, Oberhausen, Huesca. His most important films include: “A Gentle Spirit” (1985); “Walls” (1987); “Franz Kafka” (1991); “Crime and Punishment” (2000). In 2009 he realized “Forest” – black-and-white live action film, in 2016 “Ederly”. And in , 2023 „Fin del Mundo?”.
WIOLA SOWA
PhD holder in film art. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow and the Film School in Lodz. She is an academic at Institut of Media Arts at Pedagogical University Krakow. Two times laureate of the Grant of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the Art Grant of the City of Krakow, and the Grant of the Goethe Institute. Her films have won more than twenty awards, including: the Silver Dragon Award, the Silver Lajkonik Award, the FIPRESCI award at the Krakow Film Festival.




MALVÍNA BALVÍNOVÁ
graduated in Film and Theatre at the Faculty of Arts of the Charles University in Prague. She has been publishing articles on animation in various magazines. She was a member of the jury at Animania festival, FAMUfest (Czech Rep.) or Elbe Dock festival (Czech Rep. / Germany). Since 2014, she has been collaborating with Anifilm as a programmer, member of the selection committee and Aniont coordinator. She made several animated shorts, two of which (Metamorfózy v pohybu, 2011 and Závislé vztahy, 2014) were awarded. She is also an author of several comic books.
