We were delighted to see that this year’s feature film competition has attracted a great deal of interest, as reflected in the large number of films submitted for the 28. IFF ZOOM-ZBLIŻENIA competition. As a selection team, it is a pleasure to see such diverse and high-quality productions, which present us with a daunting challenge in selecting the best works.
As a result, the selection process takes longer than we initially anticipated because we want to give each film the attention it deserves. We are committed to ensuring that decisions are as thoughtful as possible, and that the selection of films for the competition fully reflects the high level of the works submitted.
We would like to thank all the filmmakers for their commitment and patience.
We will announce the results of the selection on January 15.
